Pre Release Single 2010
for promotional use only

Any Barrington Levy remix has the potential to go big and this tune will get lots of play to start the new decade. With a meaningful title “No War” and a collaboration with Cash Money the potential for a classic slipped away to a somewhat disconnected vibe between the artists. Overall a big tune…ruuuuuuun it!

Russian Productions – 2009

Tarik “Russian” Johnston is a young producer who’s making a big impact along with Cleveland “Brixton” Scott and their label Head Concussion Records. These two young producers are working islands apart, building riddims on their computers and going to school with plans of opening a high quality studio in the near future. Their sound is a unique blend of hip hop and dancehall with solid production and sound quality. Check producer/songwriter Leftside as Granpa in “Mi Tyad” bringing some comedy to the dancehall. Promo – 2009

Ice Berg first appeared in 1996 with some culture releases on the Minor Mood Riddim which included songs by Mr. Perfect – “Love You Girl” and Roundhead – “Dollar Bill.” In 2007 Ice Berg released the Step Off Riddim, a hardcore dancehall riddim that features Sizzla, TOK, and Elephant Man. He was quiet in 2008 and in 2009 he’s back with a couple white label 45 remixes both remixing John Legend. The Buju mix is the clear choice to drop in the dance. Ice Berg needs to step it up. He knows enough about the business to get his releases out, now it’s time to focus on the music.

You're A Jerk Riddim

General’s Ranking: starstarstar

Buju – Champion Remix (2009)

Probably the most overused dancehall acapella of all time resurfaces again over “You’re a Jerk” beat produced by Legacy from the New Boyz. Remix producers need to dig a little deeper. There are plenty of new and not played out dancehall accapellas out there. Dust off your keyboard and start Googling!
